After the typical Slovak meal, which included such Slovak dishes as "holubky" or in English cabbage rolls, the Sing-a-long was commenced by the hosts of the evening, the St. Cyril and Methodius Choir. Songs such as Slovenska piesen, Dnes je sobota, and other typical Slovak songs were introduced to start off the evening.

Their special guests General Gal, Lieutenant Viktorin, Lieutenant Kulik, and Major Majernik from the Slovak Military were warmly introduced.
