Jan
Weiss, besides being
an accomplished heligonkar (button
accordion player), is also very good with
the harmonica as well as the Slovak
version of the bagpipes (gajdy). In
addition to being the Museum Director of
the Horehronsky Museum in Brezno, he
appears regularly with the Mostar
(Brezno) folklore dance troupe. Presented
here are some of his favourite pieces of
music on both the button accordion and
the harmonica. Note: You
need RealAudio (RA) 2.0 and
preferably RA 3.0 to fully appreciate his
music.
