Editors Note:

Dr. Margaret Arkinstall and her late husband Dr. Bill Arkinstall were pioneer doctors in Northern Ontario from 1931 to 1947. An equal partner of theirs was Gretta Mustard R.N. who served as the Hospital Superintendant at St. Pauls Hospital .

Dr. Bill Arkinstall died on Feb. 21, 1978. Gretta Mustard died in June of 1972.

Dr. Margaret Arkinstall celebrated her ninetieth birthday Early this Year. 1995 marked the 65 th anniversary of her graduating from medicine .
