pages on money

When arriving in Slovakia with US, Canadian or other foreign currency, you should consider exchanging some of your money for local currency.   The Slovak Koruna (crown) is convertible from foreign currency.  Typically, local merchants are not setup to deal with the complicated maze of exchange rates.  This leaves the visitor with the option of getting ones money exchanged at the local post office, bank, ABMs or exchange establishments.
Once you have your Slovak Crowns (Sk), you can now try the many local shops that make shopping so much part of today's travel experience.  The questions and phrases provided here  should allow you to be able to deal with most issues related to money.
